Parametricaly Soft examines the characteristics and behavior of individual users and uses them as additional parameters in the process of designing children's plates with an emphasis on food at home.
The project presents plug-ins to the family dinner plate while defining individual and "soft" parameters in the add-on design process such as restriction, education to correct quantities, negotiation, etc.
In a conventional design process most of the parametric planning processes could be characterized as formal or engineering based while the industrial design world exploiting generic situations to drive the design process.
The design process of the additions or plug-ins examined children's behaviors and the way parents serve food (storage, cutlery and plates) as a design that investigates the "soft ingredients" that are expressed on the dining table.
